Daniel Alan Spitz is an American musician and watchmaker known as the lead guitarist for the American heavy metal band Anthrax from 1983 to 1995 and from 2005 to 2008. Along with Anthrax, Spitz took the lead. was nominated for three Grammy Awards and won a number of platinum albums. Spitz also formed the Christian group Red Lamb, famous for lyrics about autism. Spitz holds a Swiss and American degree in luxury mechanical watchmaking and micro-mechanical watchmaking, and is certified as a watchmaking instructor for North American operations from the Swiss watch company Chopard.
